Sir,
The undersigned is straight to acre that equally per the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare OM No.Z15025/105/2017/DIR/CGHS/EHS dated 09.11.2017 the CGHS physician / Government Specialist shall non refer the beneficiary to whatever item empanelled infirmary past times shout but shall specify the handling physical care for together with cite “referred to whatever CGHS empanelled centre”
2. ECHS has to follow the CGHS Norms. However, it is seen that doctors at CHS Polyclinics are issuing referrals past times shout to specific Pvt. Empanelled Medical Facilities.
3. In stance of the above, it has been decided past times the competent authorization that henceforth no ECHS physician volition number referrals past times shout to whatever Pvt. Empanelled Medical Facility. The ECHS doctors shall cite on the prescription the handling procedure/tests required past times the ECHS beneficiary together with and so write equally follows:
“Referred to whatever ECHS Empanelled Medical Facility located inside the Area of Responsibility of Regional Centre, (Name of City).”
4. CO, ECHS together with RC, ECHS volition ensure that the listing of Pvt. Empanelled Medical Facilities along amongst the medical handling procedures/tests for which they direct maintain been empanelled is prominently displayed on the website of ECHS, Regional Centre wise. OIC, of every Polyclinic, volition live on responsible for ensuring that difficult copies of this listing downloaded from ECHS website is kept inwards the Polyclinic inwards sufficient numbers together with given to the ECHS beneficiary whenever demanded. If whatever modify lakes house inwards this list, it shall live on the responsibleness of Director RC, ECHS concerned ensure display of the corrected/amended listing on the website of ECHS without whatever delay.
5. Whenever an ECHS beneficiary approaches a Pvt. Empanelled Medical Facility amongst such a referral from ECHS Polyclinic together with the Pvt. Empanelled Medical Facility is non empanelled past times Ministry of Defence (MoD) for the required handling physical care for / tests, it shall live on the responsibleness of the Pvt. Empanelled Medical Facility to inform the beneficiary that it is non empanelled for the required handling physical care for / tests. If whatever Pvt. Empanelled Medical Facility is constitute providing handling physical care for / conducting tests to such an ECHS beneficiary for which it is non empanelled, together with so apart from non reimbursing the expenses incurred past times the Medical Facility on such treatment, activity volition live on taken against the said ECHS Empanelled Pvt Medical Facility nether the rules / equally per the provisions of Memorandum of Agreement (MoA).
6. No ECHS Polyclinic Officer/Official/Doctor should indulge inwards whatever activity strength canvassing for/against whatever ECHS empanelled Pvt. Medical Facility.
